2d animation professional
Education: BA(hons) animation- upper 2nd class honours (Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art & Design)
My drawing is my greatest asset, and all of my core skills currently relate to 2D animation production. I have a large knowledge of modern software packages relating to this discipline (After Effects, Photoshop, Toonboom etc.) and am very computer-savvy, so can pick up new programs quickly also. I have experience in both animated feature film production and working in the freelance sector.
I worked as part of the digital Paint/Scan team on Chomet’s oscar-nominated feature, “The Illusionist” (2010).
I also worked as an in-betweener on the 2011 French animated feature “Titeuf: le Film”. On this project, the level of quality to be maintained in every drawing was very high, and i learned a lot while working on it.

In 2009, I was comissioned to create the animation shows for the “Enchanted Forest” light show in Faskally wood, near Pitlochry by Blast Design. Collaborating with a team of trusted and talented peers, we produced animations depicting Scottish mythical creatures, including the Loch Ness Monster and a Kelpie. In addition to animating the “Dunmore Fairies” section of the show, i took the lead on the project, co-ordinating liasons with both client and fellow animators to bring the show through to it’s successful realisation. It was during this time, and with these collaborators, that I co-founded the freelance animation body Amphibian Animations, of which i am still an acting member.
My interests include animation, video games, comics, films and the Great Apes.
I am currently working freelance, and actively seeking out new work and employment opportunities.
