Submission for Young Carers project
Some months ago, I submitted a sort-of “pitchfolio” for what became this project. My mum is actually part of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, so I came at the brief with a certain amount of background knowledge. In the end, the client went with something else, as my drawings were thought to be perhaps a bit too dark and adult for the intended audience. Here’s my take on the characters, and i urge you to check out what they went with in the end as well- As narrated by “Peregrin Took”!
Dragon Ball…Vegeta?
As anyone who listens to our podcast will be aware, I’ve been mad into my Dragonball Z of late, and I just started investigating Toriyama’s original “Dragon Ball” manga- it’s a lot of fun! It made me think though that it would be funny if it had been Vegeta instead of Goku who came to earth- perhaps it would have looked something like this…

Another TMNT image, started this one ages ago as well, but came back to it as a bit of a colour/photoshop learning exercise. Big thanks to Chris McD for his rather large role in advising me on how best to finish this one up. This image, like the earlier one i posted, is based on a particular splash page from issue one of the original Turtles comic. Perhaps one day i’ll have redrawn the issue in it’s entirety…
